A Living Room Fireplace

So! We are here!
The major part of the renovations are now complete... 
And I know some day soon...even now... we can look back on the days of using a cooler as a fridge and smile.


There has been much scrubbing, painting, weeding, washing, and unpacking. All while attempting to remember none of this really matters.

"Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things" (Colossians 3:2)

I love this shirt!!!  It blouses at the waist, so it hides any unwanted muffin top!!

Yesterday was my birthday and I hit Thirty Seven!!! 


It looks better when you spell it out, doesn't it?  Inside, I still feel 20!  That's good, right!!?
I'm in school with such young girls, they all make me feel young and carefree again!

Blue is the Theme

So, I'm really loving blue right now!  Especially these blues.  I've had these pics
in my bucket for a long time and had to share them.  These rooms are the ultimate!
Does that mean I'm going to change every room in my house to blue?  No way!
My man would absolutely have me comitted!  However, I might could throw in
some unexpected touches of blue here and there.  Like, in the kitchen, I could find
a light blue pitcher.  You know, easy things like that.

Great Makeover on a Kitchen!

I have fallen in love with this wonderful makeover!!!  You have to head over to Hooked on Houses

I had to share the kitchen, which is my favorite for sure!

Here is the stunning after!!!  I love the white on the top cabinets and that mossy green
on the bottom.  Perfection!!!  The apron sink is just fabulous!









Notice the window over the sink?  Oh, to have a window with details
like that, is sigh worthy!









This is an actual candy-maker's cabinet!  How cool is that!?









Oh, to have your dream kitchen be a reality.  What a dream come true!!
